About the event
Every Wednesday, Seattle Weekly Skate Session of Friendship hosts a free, open skate session at a different skatepark around the Puget Sound area. The group votes on the spot the night before, so check the Seattle Weekly Skate Session of Friendship Facebook group for the week’s location. Past sessions have been at Everett’s Walter E. Hall Skatepark, Rainier Beach Playfield Skatepark in Seattle, and Longacre’s DIY Skatepark in Renton.
The session starts at 6pm, and people usually begin showing up around 5. Inlines or quads, all wheels and all skill levels are welcome. Themed nights happen too, like the Halloween skate, where costumes are encouraged.
